Setup FAQ

How do I install an EA from MQL5 Market?

After purchasing on MQL5 Market, open MetaTrader and go to the Market tab. Log in with your MQL5 account. The EA will appear under "Purchased". Click it, select "Install", drag it onto the correct chart, enable AutoTrading, and confirm.

Which chart and timeframe should I use?

Master EA uses 5M timeframe, while Breakout EA, Grid EA, and Trinity EA all use M15. The correct pairs are listed on each EA's card on the EAs page and in the downloadable PDF guide. Using the wrong pair or timeframe will result in no trades.

Do I need a VPS to run the EA?

A VPS is strongly recommended but not strictly required. Without a VPS, the EA only runs while your computer is on and MetaTrader is open. A VPS ensures 24/5 uptime. We recommend ForexVPS for low-latency hosting.

What broker settings are required?

We recommend Raw Spread or ECN account types for the tightest spreads. Leverage of 1:100 or higher is optimal. Hedging must be enabled on your account (important for MT5). IC Markets and FP Markets both offer suitable account types.

Can I use the EA on multiple accounts?

MQL5 Market licenses allow activation on a limited number of operating systems. There is no individual account limit on any EA purchased thorugh MQL5. Check your remaining activations in your MQL5 account under "Purchases". If you need more, contact us via Discord.

Where can I get help with setup?

Join our Discord server for live support from the development team and community. We offer real-time installation help, settings optimisation, and troubleshooting. You can also email us at swiftcapeas@gmail.com.

How do I update to a newer EA version?

Updates are delivered automatically through MQL5 Market. When a new version is released, MetaTrader will notify you. Accept the update and the latest version replaces the old one. Check the updated PDF guide or Discord for release notes.

What minimum balance do I need?

We recommend a minimum balance of $500 per EA for optimal performance. Running multiple EAs simultaneously requires proportionally more capital. Join our Discord for personalised capital allocation advice.
